The Dutch smooth jazz saxophonist Candy Dulfer released her seventh studio album Right In My Soul in 2003. The album is characterized by Dulfer’s signature smooth jazz and funk style, but also incorporates many influences from contemporary dance styles, making it a diverse and fresh record. It features the singles “Finsbury Park, Café 67”, “Let Me Show You”, and “What’s In Your Head”. The title track features a guest performance by Maceo Parker, who is best known for his work with James Brown, Parliament-Funkadelic, and Prince.
Right In My Soul is available on vinyl for the first time to celebrate its 20th anniversary. The 2LP is available as a limited edition of 1000 individually numbered copies on white marbled vinyl and includes an insert.
